Cycling Craze

Recently, Kim-anh and I have been cycling tonnes. On new year's day, we rode from Scoresby to Wantirna LOL! Surprisingly, the ride was really exciting! It didn't feel like we were riding for a long time.. I think mainly cos we were with each other.. If I was to cycle alone, I think I'd be depressing about the distance and the incline.. but with Kim-anh it was all good :D

We rode on Kim-anh's bikes :D It was pretty funny cos we looked like elementary kids. We were really prepared! We slapped on sunscreen before our ride, brought a little pink bag pack to hold our drink bottles, mobiles and keys, wore our runners/sport shoes and helmets :D

TEEHEE, we were all sweaty and glowy from the heat.

We started our ride at around 7:30pm and got back around 9 I think.. Later that night, Kim-anh, Nick and I met up at Pancake Parlour in Glen. We had the usual short stacks.. mann.. it was so good! But it pretty much killed the afternoon exercise -.-"

January, 4th


Kim-anh and I rode again in the afternoon. This time however we did not want to go to Wantirna cos we'd have to go through Cathies Lane which was a pain... instead, we headed towards Jells Park :D But on the way there.. I thought Kim-anh forgot to lock her garage door.. so we went ALLLL the way back to her place from Fonteyn drive -.-"

When we arrived at her place, the garage door was locked LOL! So, from there we re-routed and headed towards the Eastlink trail that also led us to Jells Park :D WOOHOO!

On the way there, we saw some nice sculptures and became touristy :D man.. I find that Australia is a pretty cool country just cos they actually can be bothered to decorate bicycle trails with sculptures and stuff :D Hmm.. makes riding more interesting.
